And gave her tumblr 40 whacks.

Observation

There are good people and there are bad people. The good people don’t always win, but somehow, the bad people always lose. (Which makes the good people winners…by default.)

Two of my favorite things combined: an ’80s song and Kate Shindle.

“Miss Piggy really burst onto the scene. So the first time I met her, I was trapped under some scenery.”

Failed April Fool jokes of years past.

My top 5 April Fool jokes that failed terribly:

1. Pretending to attack strangers.
2. Poisoning my family.
3. Selling the island of Manhattan on ebay (Sorry again, Blooms!)
4. Telling my boyfriend I was pregnant.
5. Telling my mom I’m pregnant.

The nicest thing anyone ever said to me.

  • Me: Mark, do I look good with bangs?
  • Mark: I dunno, you are blessed with good hair. It looks good pretty much all the time.

Thank god YouTube didn’t exist when I was just a toddler in ballet class.

San Francisco…a city in which I will never go running. Ever.
But I will someday hunt down the house from Full House. Someday.

The Armida Winery in northern California, known for its phenomenal (albeit, cheaply marketed) Poizin wine.
$80 buys you a coffin case and a wax top for your skull and crossbones-laden Poizin bottle; but I say you save your money and spring for the $25, coffin-less bottle of this delicious and full Zinfandel.
This is the kind of wine you can swirl and sniff and truly enjoy…or get wasted and chug. Versatility is the key!

If freckles were lovely…

If freckles were lovely, and day was night,
And measles were nice and a lie warn’t a lie,
Life would be delight,—
But things couldn’t go right
For in such a sad plight
I wouldn’t be I.

If earth was heaven and now was hence,
And past was present, and false was true,
There might be some sense
But I’d be in suspense
For on such a pretense
You wouldn’t be you.

If fear was plucky, and globes were square,
And dirt was cleanly and tears were glee
Things would seem fair,—
Yet they’d all despair,
For if here was there
We wouldn’t be we.
